Sundays
8am Holy Communion
This is a quiet reflective Communion service, attended mainly by adults. On the first Sunday of the month we use the 1662 prayer book (Book of Common Prayer) and on the other Sundays we use the modern service but with traditional language. On all but the first Sunday there is a short address given on the Bible readings of the day.
10am Parish Communion Service
This is the main service of the day and there is always a sermon that relates Christian faith to everyday life. We use both modern and traditional hymns and the choir sing at this service. During term time there is a Sunday School and a crèche for the younger members of the church, although they are always welcome to stay with their parents if they prefer. On the first Sunday of the month we have a slightly more informal service –
10am All-age Communion Service (first Sunday of the month)
This is a Communion Service with a more informal feel. The whole church family worships together and the sermon is replaced by a more informal talk or activity
Holy Communion is celebrated on Thursday at 9.45am when we use the modern order of service and traditional language. There is a short talk on the day's Bible readings and we usually gather for tea and coffee after the service.
